Terms, privacy and reporting
Terms of service
These are the main points of how we work. The binding version is the engagement you agree in writing before any work starts, and that document takes precedence.
- We act only on Instagram, and only through Instagram's own public reporting channels.
- You confirm that the content or identity you report is yours, or that you are authorised to act for the person or business it belongs to.
- We cannot guarantee any particular outcome. The decision to remove an account or a post rests with Instagram, not with us.
- Work begins once the scope and fee are agreed in writing. Monitoring runs until you cancel it.
- We are not a law firm and nothing here is legal advice. Where a case needs a lawyer or the police, we will say so.
- Deliberately false reports are not something we will file. If the evidence does not support the claim, we will tell you.
Privacy policy
We collect only what a case needs, and we keep it to the people working on it.
- What we collect: your name and email, the handles and links you report, the evidence you send, and any identity or ownership documents we ask for.
- Why: to assess the case, file reports, and keep you updated.
- Who sees it: the team member handling your case, and the platform when a report requires it. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
- Sensitive cases: private or intimate material is handled by one person, stored no longer than the case needs, and deleted on request once it closes.
- How long: case files are kept while the matter is open, plus the period we are required to keep business records.
- Your choices: write to us to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted where we are not required to keep it.
Reporting policy
How we decide what to file, and what we will not do:
- Every report is reviewed by a person before it is submitted.
- We file under the ground that actually fits the case — impersonation, copyright, trademark or safety — rather than whichever is quickest.
- We do not mass-report accounts to silence criticism, competitors or lawful speech, and we turn down cases that look like that.
- We never ask for your password, and we do not access any account that is not yours.
- If a case involves a minor, credible threats of violence, or material that is criminal where you live, we will tell you to contact the police and point you to the right reporting route. A takedown is not a substitute for that.
